Due to rapid growth, First Call Logistics is searching for a skilled Accounting Representative to join our expanding team.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Representative will perform assigned duties within the accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews accounts payable invoices, assigns vendor numbers and similar identifying data, and analyzes financial records for accuracy.
- Enters vendor information into the accounting software system; verifies that invoice information is maintained accurately.
- Reviews and reconciles invoice discrepancies.
- Issues payments to vendors as approved.
- Basic vendor account reconciliation.
- Ensures all vendor invoices get paid promptly.
- Processes routine monthly payments as approved.
- Provide professional representation and support to customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Prepares monthly inventory control reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Critical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to type 30 words per minute.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience with accounting software.
- This position reports in person to a designated FCL office Monday through Friday.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with some bookkeeping coursework. Associate’s degree preferred.
- One year of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
