Produce Sales Consultant – Indianapolis, IN (Full-time)
Join the First Call FRESH team in Indianapolis, IN. First Call FRESH is the team at First Call Logistics built for nothing but temperature-sensitive freight. As a Produce Sales Consultant, you’ll win and grow relationships with shippers, growers, packers and retailers, and help them move perishable freight on time, at temperature, with fewer handoffs.

What You’ll Do
- Prospect and build relationships with produce shippers, growers, packers, distributors and retailers
- Learn each customer’s temperature ranges, shelf life, handling needs and delivery windows, and build solutions to fit
- Quote and negotiate competitive rates for reefer truckload, LTL and expedited freight
- Manage your book of business in our CRM as the customer’s main point of contact
- Partner with the First Call FRESH team to keep shipments monitored from pickup to delivery
- Grow accounts through peak seasons and build referral relationships across your portfolio
- Lead freight RFPs and bid opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of sales and/or logistics experience preferred; produce or cold chain experience is a big plus
- Self-starter who thrives in a commission-driven environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Quick problem-solver when conditions change in real time
- Comfortable with CRM, TMS and load-tracking tools
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
